Hello! This is for those who are wondering who I am and how I got my start writing for various spirituality pages.

I (Lara Starr) was born in Upstate NY. I have always been passionate about both learning and volunteering my time. I’ve worked countless volunteer jobs. Everything from working at Zoos and Marine Mammal Stranding Centers to doing anti-poaching in Kruger Park, South Africa. I was even a Firefighter and First Responder.

I spent over 14 years abroad, traveling to over 60 countries. Most of which were in Europe, Africa, and South America. I volunteered for archeological studies, I worked with animals, I volunteered in many impoverished communities, and I have also worked as an apprentice under many great teachers.

For years I sustained my travels through writing. I wrote for The Mind Unleashed, Spirit Science, and many other major online publishers with millions of followers. The articles I’ve written have been read by hundreds of millions of people, all over the world. Back then, my articles were mostly about inspiring positive, societal changes.

Back in Feb 2012, I had an out-of-body experience. My first astral projection. I was pulled out of my body by two of my soul guides. They explained that I am a Starseed from the Pleiades and that I chose to come to Earth to help people and influence great change. My soul guides also told me about our true, very complicated Earth history.

When I woke up, I remembered the entire conversation. I started fact-checking everything I was told. That same day is when I discovered Barbara Marciniak and Dolores Cannon’s life work. Everything they said matched perfectly to what I was told. Including our history. I spent the next 8 years reading every Dolores Cannon book I could get my hands on. I have also watched hundreds of hours of her podcasts.

So one day I wrote to Julia Cannon and showed her examples of my work. I explained to her that I have a knack for understanding difficult subjects, and breaking them down so they are easier for beginners to understand.

As Einstein once said, “If you cannot explain it to a six-year-old, then you don’t understand it yourself.” I always educate myself with that in mind and I base all my explanations that way.

I have been writing for the Dolores Cannon page ever since! It’s almost been 5 years now that I have been publishing on her behalf. It’s the greatest honor I’ve ever been bestowed.

The knowledge that I am going to teach in my classes stems from all this wonderful study and life experience.
